Story: Nautika was one of the original StormWatch members. In the team she was the moderating element in the fight between Battalion and Flashpoint. It was here she met the Swede Karl, whom she married [StormWatch Sourcebook #1].

On a mission in Kuwait in the final days of Desert Storm, Nautika was captured along with her teammates Flashpoint and Sunburst. The three operatives were believed to be dead, but were instead held captive in Deathtrap's penthouse fortress in Gamorra [StormWatch (vol. 1) #7]. The three operatives being alive was discovered when StormWatch caught a Gamorran smuggler who wanted to cut a deal [StormWatch (vol. 1) #6]. Battalion and his team went straight into Gamorra with a team and saved their missing teammates [StormWatch (vol. 1) #7].

Nautika and the rest of the rescued team shouldn't have been sent on new missions for some time after they had been rescued, but increasing amounts of terrorist activity, forced the three StormWatch operatives back in action shortly after [StormWatch (vol. 1) #9].

After another mission in Gamorra, she and Karl started talking about getting normal lives, having a family and a home [StormWatch (vol. 1) #37].


Skills & abilities: Nautika has electrical powers giving her flight and long range electrical discharges (20,000 volt under water).
