Story: In 1990, Amanda was put to the final test by the Cabal. She was to enter a building and kill the target inside. When she discovered, that the target was doctor Elias Hoagland, who had fused the symbiote with her, she could not go thru with the mission and ran away instead. Pike who followed her, finished the job and set after her [Wildstorm #2]. Instead of killing her, Pike set her up to take the blame for the murder, and shortly after she was caught and sentenced to jail. Purgatory max, 25 to life with no parole. She had a brief visit by Pike who told her she was let go and it would be best for her never to say anything about the Cabal [Wildstorm #3].


Skills & abilities: Amanda carries a symbiote which serves as a versatile armor with minor healing capability. The symbiote is based in vampire DNA and is fueled by Amanda's blood, making her skin white when used. The vampiric origin gives her limited power of persuasion with her voice. The armor could originally only defend Taboo against blunt attacks and small arms fire. Later as she learned to use the symbiote better it could be morphed into various spiked weapons and wings for gliding.
