Skills & abilities: Ant-Man: Normal human strength of a man of his age, height, and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. His level of strength was retained in insect size. Originally the change in size was obtained by inhaling a gas or drinking a potion containing Pym Particles which would create a 'reducing field'. The process was reversed by repeating the process with another type of Pym Particles which created an 'enlarging field'.

Giant-Man/Goliath: Varying strength depending on size: at 10 feet tall, Pym could lift (press) 1000 pounds, at 25 feet tall he could lift (press) 10 tons, and at 100 feet tall, Pym could lift (press) 50 tons. Above 25 feet, Pym had to use more and more of his strength use simply to support his own enormous mass at this size. While being Giant-Man, Pym still needed the gas or potion with Pym Particles to change size, but when he became Goliath, he had found out how to trigger the change by will.

Yellowjacket: Normal human strength of a man of his age, height, and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. Level of strength retained in insect size, whereas his strength increases if he increases his size. Maximum size is unknown at this point.

Equipment: Ant-Man: Pym wore a cybernetic helmet which permitted him to achieve rudimentary telepathic communication with ants and other higher insects and to control their minds.

Yellowjacket: Pym carried miniaturized versions of the devices in the Ant-Man helmet in his cowl, giving him rudimentary telepathic communication with ants and other higher insects and enabling him to control their minds. The costume also contained electric "stingers'' in the gloves which emitted electrical bolts of variable current and artificial wings which enabled him to fly.

While he worked for the West Coast Avengers Pym carried an entire laboratory and an array of firearms in his clothes, shrunk to the size a microchip when not in use. During that time he also had 'Rover', a small jet-plane shaped like an insect with a limited artificial intelligence.
