Story: Orson was born as the runt of the litter. His brothers were harassing him and while he did manage, despite his size, he was sold off by the farmer. On the way to his new owner, Orson fell of the truck and eventually found his way to the farm U.S. Acres.

At the farm, he found a pile of books, and discovered that he liked to read. With his fertile imagination, what happened in the books often took form in the real World, including his super-hero alter ego Power Pig.

Orson also managed to become a mother. He found a couple of eggs that had been abandoned by their mother, and took it upon him self to hatch the eggs. Being the first the two chickens Booker and Sheldon saw, he obviously had to be "mom".

Background notes: Orson, and the series U.S. Acres (Orson's Farm outside USA) was a series created by Jim Davis, who is mostly known for his series Garfield. The series ran as a comic strip from March 1986 to May 1989, and was adapted to cartoons as a part of the series Garfield & Friends, where is ran from 1988 until the series was stopped after 121 episodes in 1994 (voice by Gregg Berger). At the height of its fame, the series was made into children's books as possibly also toys and posters.

The humor in the comics play on much of the slapstick violence also seen in the earlier Garfield strips, and many of the gags revolve around objects doing strange things like a duck call going "Hey duck!" or a flower pinning a note saying "Pick me!" on another flower. Another recurring joke in the series is the worms that especially Booker chases, again with characters and various objects doing "impossible" thing with hilarious effect.
