Story: Prophet's father was killed by Hilter's men, leaving young Jonathan as the eldest son in the family and responsible for his mother and younger brother. To get by he took several jobs, including being a test subject in Dr. Garnet Wells experiments on genetic enhancements on humans [2]. Wells succeeded in evolving Prophet's physical abilities to super-human level. This was in Berlin 1937. With the outbreak of war in Europe, Wells had to escape from Germany to avoid having to work for Hitler. Just prior to his leaving for USA, he equipped Prophet with an outlandish costume and an arsenal of advanced weapons and put him in a cryogenic chamber [9].

It was later revealed that Wells created Prophet on the orders of Philip Omen. Exactly what went on has not been revealed, but apparently Omen programmed Prophet to kill Wells. Wells and Kirby overcame Prophet and reprogrammed him, after which they took him back in time over and over again to live, die and be resurrected [5].

Prophet was found in the cryogenic chamber in Wells' abandoned lab East Berlin in 1992, and was accidentally released by Cougar from Youngblood [9].

After Prophet awakened he had some troubles getting in contact with D.O.C.C. He succeeded in reestablishing the contact, but only by breaking several federal laws, which meant that the US government went after Prophet using FBI and Bloodstrike [2-4]. When Prophet was caught, he was contacted by the organization Ragnarok, a US funded research facility led by Philip Omen. Prophet knew Omen from his dreams and knew that Omen would one day start the Disciple program and thereby destroy mankind. He therefore agreed to let Ragnarok test him for a period of time [5]. The tests turned out bad and he and Kirby left the program [6]. Omen tried several times to get Prophet back without success.

From 1996 to 2025 Prophets whereabouts are unknown. A part of the time he was in cryogenic stasis again, because Dr. Heinrich Lang revived him in 2025 [8]. What happened after this is also unknown. In 2043 Prophet was a part of the resistance against Lord Darkthorn on Earth. In a fight with Crypt he was killed once again [1]. The last known appearance is in 2120 [7].

Skills & abilities: Enhanced strength, speed and stamina. Prophet also has the ability to move in time and space. Mostly this is done by D.O.C.C. moving his body, but he also has the ability to move his spirit in space and time.
Equipment: Prophet is linked to D.O.C.C. an orbiting computer and space station. In his face he has a number of jacks allowing him to be connected directly to computers. He carries a wide variety of weapons but favors swords of any kind.
